The students of the Third Year of ESO of the bilingual group, together with their teacher Ana Lancho, draw up lists of technical vocabulary with the most frequent words for each of the units they study in the subject of physics and chemistry.

These records of technical words will help them better understand the global world around them.

Here we have some examples of the students’ projects .

Unit 4. The atom.

– Weight laws = Leyes ponderales.

– Total mass = Masa total.

– Constant mass = Masa constante.

– Matter = Materia.

– Átomo = Atom.

– Chemical reactions = Reacciones químicas.

– Modelo = Model.

– Positive charge = Carga positiva.

– Negative charge = Carga negativa.

– Neutral charge = Carga neutra.

– Particles = Partículas.

– Atomic number = Número atómico.

– Mass number = Número Másico.

– Protons = Protones.

– Neutrons = Neutrones.

– Electrons = Electrones.

– Reference atom = Átomo de referencia.

– Relative atomic mass = Masa atómica relativa.

– Isotopes = Isótopos.

– Isotopic abundance = Abundancia isotópica.

– Atomic mass = Masa atómica.

– Power level = Nivel de energía.

– Electronic configuration = Configuración electrónica.

– Level = Nivel.

– Sublevel = Subnivel.

– Radio = Radio.

– Properties = Propiedades.

– Definite proportions = Proporciones definidas.

– Mass conservation = Conservación de la masa.
